Home Instead provides a variety of care services to seniors in their homes. We are hiring full-time compassionate and dedicated office and field support staff to cover various duties/shifts while working in our Shawnee County and Douglas County offices. See job duties below:

Pay: Starts at $18.00 per hour with an opportunity for increase to $20/hour+ after 3 months of successful work.  

Job Duties:

• Combined shifts will not add up to more than 40 hours per week.  
• Must have availability weekdays Monday through Friday ranging from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Average workday is typically 7 hours in length) and 4 Saturdays / Sundays a month.
• Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license, and possess valid auto insurance. Meet company requirements to be a driving Care Pro
• Travel throughout the entirety of Shawnee County and Douglas County.
• Proficient utilization of technology systems, basic office programs like Microsoft Word and Excel and strong communication skills.  
• Ability to lift, push or pull, twist, reach and kneel with a maximum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.

Job Requirements

• Motor vehicle, criminal background checks, drug screening, including marijuana required for employees.
• Valid Driver’s License Required. Must have your own clean, well-maintained vehicle with updated insurance coverage. 3 years of driving history required.
• Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in the healthcare field, and are also capable performing various duties in our office.
• Education: High school or equivalent education or college or technical college (Preferred)
• Work Location: Caregiving duties are performed at the office or the client’s home.
