Home Instead the world’s trusted source of non-medical services and home care for aging adults, seeks an individual who has 5-7 years experience in Marketing, Networking, and Digital Social Media to learn our business and become part of our team that coordinates a variety of Sales and Marketing duties including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources in Topeka/Shawnee County and Lawrence/ Douglas County.  It is our goal at Home Instead to enhance the lives of the aging adults we serve and to help them remain independent for as long as possible.  Each of us are in this business because we have a heart for service and a passion for aging adults.  We have a positive, uplifting team / family environment and we want someone who fits into those characteristics.
 
The Marketing, Networking, and Digital Social Media Specialist is responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory.  Revenue is to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources.  This position is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward to Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in Sales/Marketing/Networking/ Digital Social Media areas.  The primary job responsibilities include:

 

  • Establish, enhance, and maintain relationships with referral sources for clients in Shawnee and Douglas Counties
  • Conduct service inquiries, client care consultations, client/Caregiver introductions
  • Perform quality assurance visits to assess client needs and support

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • College degree in Health Care or Business related field with 5 to 7 years in Marketing, Networking and Digital Social Media experience
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years; clean driving record
  • Clear criminal background and drug screening
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to listen effectively
  • Work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment and good decision-making
  • Discretion and integrity
  • Operate office equipment, including proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Work evenings/weekends as required, with periodic on-call phone shifts
